Information
DELSTRIGO is a prescription medication used in the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults. It is a combination antiretroviral medication that contains three active ingredients: doravirine, a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI); lamivudine, a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI); and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, another type of NRTI. DELSTRIGO works by interfering with the virus's ability to replicate, which helps to decrease the amount of HIV in the body and increases the immune system's ability to fight off infections. It is taken orally, typically once a day, and is used as part of a comprehensive HIV treatment regimen. As with any medication, it is important to use DELSTRIGO under the guidance of a healthcare provider, and it is not a cure for HIV or AIDS.
