HYTRIN-BPH, generically known as terazosin, is a medication primarily used in the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition commonly referred to as an enlarged prostate. It belongs to a class of drugs known as alpha-blockers, which work by relaxing the muscles in the bladder and prostate, thereby improving urine flow and reducing the symptoms associated with BPH.
