NEORECORMON is a medication primarily used to treat anemia associated with chronic kidney failure, anemia in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, and in certain cases, to reduce the need for blood transfusions in patients undergoing major surgery. It contains the active ingredient epoetin beta, which is a synthetic form of erythropoietin, a hormone naturally produced by the kidneys that stimulates the production of red blood cells.
