Triapin is a combination medication used primarily in the management and treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains two active ingredients: ramipril and felodipine. Ramipril belongs to a class of drugs known as ACE inhibitors (Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme inhibitors), which help to relax blood vessels and reduce blood pressure by inhibiting the production of a chemical that normally makes blood vessels tighter.
